A Pooja Thali is a decorated tray, often round or oval, used to hold and organize all the essential items for a Hindu worship ceremony.  A large, decorated pooja thali provides a dedicated space for articles such as diyas (lamps), incense sticks, flowers, turmeric paste, vermilion, rice grains, and food offerings (prasadam). They are often embellished with intricate engravings, paintings, or other decorative elements to enhance the aesthetic and sacred atmosphere of the pooja.
